Our mission is to translate God. We want to help people understand His heart, that they might understand their own. We want that (as God does) for every human on the planet. But we feel called especially to those that feel discouraged from investigating who God is due to feeling segregated from God’s love through shame.
Jesus, in my opinion was the wisest man to walk on earth, not surprisingly He said a lot of wise things. Here is some of His wisdom I and this website try to follow.
Matthew 7 The Passion Translation (TPT)
Do Not Judge
7 “Refuse to be a critic full of bias toward others, and judgment[a] will not be passed on you. 2 For you’ll be judged by the same standard that you’ve used to judge others. The measurement you use on them will be used on you.[b] 3 Why would you focus on the flaw in someone else’s life and yet fail to notice the glaring flaws of your own?[c] 4 How could you say to your friend, ‘Let me show you where you’re wrong,’ when you’re guilty of even more? 5 You’re being hypercritical and a hypocrite! First acknowledge your own ‘blind spots’ and deal with them, and then you’ll be capable of dealing with the ‘blind spot’ of your friend.
The judgement of the majority creates shame for the marginalised to take on board, not surprisingly most do. On this website we want to encourage those individuals, groups or even cultures that feel excluded from god’s love through the judgement of religious church and individuals alike, to shake of the shame of bigoted humans and investigate God through Jesus. One thing most of us could agree based on History, is that Jesus never lied. The church is meant to represent Jesus, if your perception of church does not reflect amongst many other things the above quoted scripture, then there is something wrong, either with your perception of church or more likely the church that you have experienced. We want to introduce you to The Holy Spirit and translate you from the judgemental religion you might (understandably) believe represents Christianity into the true pure love of God.
